Jeremiah 31:2-4
Christian Standard Bible
2 This is what the Lord says:
The people who survived the sword
found favor in the wilderness.(A)
When Israel went to find rest,(B)
3 the Lord appeared to him[a] from far away.
I have loved you with an everlasting love;(C)
therefore, I have continued to extend faithful love to you.(D)
4 Again I will build you so that you will be rebuilt,
Virgin Israel.(E)
You will take up your tambourines again(F)
and go out in joyful dancing.

“Yes, (B)I have loved you with (C)an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have (D)drawn you.
4 Again (E)I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
You shall again be adorned with your (F)tambourines,
And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
