¹² “For this is what the Lord says:
‘Your broken limb is irreparable,
And your ^(A)wound is incurable.
¹³ There is no one to plead your cause;
No healing for your sore,
^(B)No recovery for you.
¹⁴ All your ^(C)lovers have forgotten you,
They do not seek you;
For I have ^(D)wounded you with the wound of an enemy,
With the ^(E)punishment of a ^(F)cruel one,
Because your ^(G)wrongdoing is great,
And your ^(H)sins are numerous.
¹⁵ Why do you cry out over your injury?
Your pain is incurable.
Because your wrongdoing is great
And your sins are numerous,
I have done these things to you.
¹⁶ Therefore all who ^(I)devour you will be devoured;
And all your adversaries, every one of them, ^(J)will go into captivity;
And those who plunder you will become plunder,
And all who plunder you I will turn into plunder.
¹⁷ For I will ^[a]restore you to ^[b](K)health
And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord,
‘Because they have called you an ^(L)outcast, saying:
“It is Zion; no one ^[c]cares for her.”’
