Jeremiah 24:9-10
New International Version
9 I will make them abhorrent(A) and an offense to all the kingdoms of the earth, a reproach and a byword,(B) a curse[a](C) and an object of ridicule, wherever I banish(D) them. 10 I will send the sword,(E) famine(F) and plague(G) against them until they are destroyed from the land I gave to them and their ancestors.(H)’”

8 Why arouse my anger with what your hands have made,(A) burning incense(B) to other gods in Egypt,(C) where you have come to live?(D) You will destroy yourselves and make yourselves a curse[a] and an object of reproach(E) among all the nations on earth. 9 Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors(F) and by the kings(G) and queens(H) of Judah and the wickedness committed by you and your wives(I) in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?(J) 10 To this day they have not humbled(K) themselves or shown reverence,(L) nor have they followed my law(M) and the decrees(N) I set before you and your ancestors.(O)
11 “Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty,(P) the God of Israel, says: I am determined to bring disaster(Q) on you and to destroy all Judah. 12 I will take away the remnant(R) of Judah who were determined to go to Egypt to settle there. They will all perish in Egypt; they will fall by the sword or die from famine. From the least to the greatest,(S) they will die by sword or famine.(T) They will become a curse and an object of horror, a curse and an object of reproach.(U)
