23 (A)How can you say, ‘I am not defiled;
I have not walked after the (B)Baals’?
Look at your way in the (C)valley!
Know what you have done!
You are a swift young camel (D)entangling her ways,
24 A (E)wild donkey accustomed to the wilderness,

23 How can you say, “I have not defiled myself.
I have not gone after the Baals”?
Look what you did in the valley!

Who can control her when she is in heat?
None of the males who pursue her will become tired.
They will find her in her mating time.
25 Stop before your shoes wear out
and your throat becomes dry!
But you say, “It’s hopeless!
I love strange gods, and I must pursue them.”
