5 “Behold, (A)the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and [a]prosper,
(B)And execute [b]judgment and righteousness in the [c]earth.
6 (C)In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel (D)will dwell safely;
Now (E)this is His name by which He will be called:

9 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 10 “Receive the gift from the captives—from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon—and go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah. 11 Take the silver and gold, make (A)an[a] elaborate crown, and set it on the head of (B)Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. 12 Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying:
“Behold, (C)the Man whose name is the (D)BRANCH!
From His place He shall [b]branch out,
(E)And He shall build the temple of the Lord;
13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord.
He (F)shall bear the glory,
And shall sit and rule on His throne;
So (G)He shall be a priest on His throne,
And the counsel of peace shall be between [c]them both.” ’
14 “Now the [d]elaborate crown shall be (H)for a memorial in the temple of the Lord [e]for Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah.

The Soldiers Mock Jesus(A)
19 So then (B)Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. 2 And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. 3 [a]Then they said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they (C)struck Him with their hands.
4 Pilate then went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, (D)that you may know that I find no fault in Him.”

5 Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!”
