Ezekiel 13:7-18
New International Version
7 Have you not seen false visions(A) and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The Lord declares,” though I have not spoken?
8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you,(B) declares the Sovereign Lord. 9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying(C) divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records(D) of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.(E)
10 “‘Because they lead my people astray,(F) saying, “Peace,”(G) when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,(H) 11 therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones(I) hurtling down,(J) and violent winds will burst forth.(K) 12 When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
13 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones(L) and torrents of rain(M) will fall with destructive fury.(N) 14 I will tear down the wall(O) you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation(P) will be laid bare. When it[a] falls,(Q) you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the Lord. 15 So I will pour out my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, “The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it, 16 those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign Lord.(R)”’
17 “Now, son of man, set your face(S) against the daughters(T) of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them(U) 18 and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?

Jeremiah 29:21-23
New International Version
21 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies(A) to you in my name: “I will deliver them into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes. 22 Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: ‘May the Lord treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned(B) in the fire.’ 23 For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery(C) with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies—which I did not authorize. I know(D) it and am a witness(E) to it,” declares the Lord.

16 Then I said to the priests and all these people, “This is what the Lord says: Do not listen to the prophets who say, ‘Very soon now the articles(G) from the Lord’s house will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying lies to you. 17 Do not listen(H) to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and you will live.(I) Why should this city become a ruin? 18 If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead(J) with the Lord Almighty that the articles remaining in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be taken to Babylon. 19 For this is what the Lord Almighty says about the pillars, the bronze Sea,(K) the movable stands and the other articles(L) that are left in this city, 20 which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take away when he carried(M) Jehoiachin[a](N) son of Jehoiakim king of Judah into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem— 21 yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says about the things that are left in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem: 22 ‘They will be taken(O) to Babylon and there they will remain until the day(P) I come for them,’ declares the Lord. ‘Then I will bring(Q) them back and restore them to this place.’”
