Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds(A) who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock(B) and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil(C) you have done,” declares the Lord. “I myself will gather the remnant(D) of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture,(E) where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I will place shepherds(F) over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid(G) or terrified, nor will any be missing,(H)” declares the Lord.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.

And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.

Derfor sier Herren, Israels Gud, så om de hyrder som røkter mitt folk: I har adspredt mine får og jaget dem bort og ikke sett efter dem; se, jeg hjemsøker eder for eders onde gjerninger, sier Herren.

Og jeg vil selv samle resten av mine får fra alle de land jeg har drevet dem bort til, og jeg vil føre dem tilbake til deres egne beitemarker, og de skal være fruktbare og bli mange.

Og jeg vil sette hyrder over dem, og de skal røkte dem; og de skal ikke frykte mere og ikke forferdes, og ingen av dem skal savnes, sier Herren.
