Jeremiah 20:11-13

New American Standard Bible

¹¹But the ^(A)Lord is with me like a powerful champion;
Therefore my ^(B)persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will be put to great shame because they have ^[a]failed,
An ^(C)everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.
¹²Yet, Lord of armies, who ^(D)tests the righteous,
Who sees the ^[b]mind and the heart;
Let me ^(E)see Your vengeance on them,
For ^(F)to You I have disclosed my cause.
¹³^(G)Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord!
For He has ^(H)saved the soul of the needy one
From the hand of evildoers.

They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced;^(D)
    their dishonor will never be forgotten.
¹²Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous
    and probe the heart and mind,^(E)
let me see your vengeance^(F) on them,
    for to you I have committed^(G) my cause.
