Jeremiah 1:13-16

13 And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, “(A)What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling (B)pot, facing away from the north.” 14 Then the Lord said to me, “(C)Out of the north the evil [a]will be unleashed on all the inhabitants of the land. 15 For, behold, I am calling (D)all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” declares the Lord; “and they will come and (E)place, each one of them, his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls around, and against all the (F)cities of Judah. 16 And I will [b]pronounce My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, since they have (G)abandoned Me and have [c](H)offered sacrifices to other gods, and worshiped the (I)works of their own hands.

And I said, I see a boiling caldron; and the face thereof is from the north. 14 Then Jehovah said unto me, Out of the north evil [a]shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. 15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith Jehovah; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. 16 And I will [b]utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, in that they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
