Jeremiah 1:11-12

¹¹Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”

I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”

¹²Then Yahweh said to me, “You have seen well; for I watch over my word to perform it.”

International Standard Version

¹¹This message from the Lord came to me, asking, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

I replied, “I see an almond branch.”

¹²The Lord told me, “You have observed well, because I’m watching over^[a] my message, to make sure it comes about.”

Jeremiah 1:12 The Heb. word almond (shaqed) sounds like the Heb. word watching (shoqed)
