Jeremiah 13:15-17
New American Standard Bible 1995
15 Listen and give heed, do not be (A)haughty,
For the Lord has spoken.
16 (B)Give glory to the Lord your God,
Before He brings (C)darkness
And before your (D)feet stumble
On the dusky mountains,
And while you are hoping for light
He makes it into (E)deep darkness,
And turns it into gloom.
17 But (F)if you will not listen to it,
My soul will (G)sob in secret for such pride;
And my eyes will bitterly weep
And flow down with tears,
Because the (H)flock of the Lord has been taken captive.
Jeremiah 13:15-17

15 Listen and give ear, do not be (A)haughty,
For Yahweh has spoken.
16 (B)Give glory to Yahweh your God,
Before He brings (C)darkness
And before your (D)feet [a]stumble
On the dusky mountains;
And while you are hoping for light,
He makes it into the (E)shadow of death
And turns it into dense gloom.
17 But (F)if you will not listen to it,
My soul will (G)cry in secret for such pride;
And my eyes will bitterly weep
And flow down with tears
Because the (H)flock of Yahweh has been taken captive.
