Jeremiah 10:23-25
Legacy Standard Bible
23 I know, O Yahweh, that (A)a man’s way is not in himself,
(B)Nor is it in a man who walks to [a]direct his steps.
24 (C)Discipline me, O Yahweh, but with justice;
Not with Your anger, lest You [b]bring me to nothing.
25 (D)Pour out Your wrath on the nations that (E)do not know You
And on the families that (F)do not call Your name,
For they have devoured Jacob;
They have (G)devoured him and consumed him
And have made desolate his [c]abode.

Jeremiah’s Prayer
23 I know, Lord, that a man’s way is not his own,
nor can a man direct his own steps.
24 Correct me, Lord, but with justice,
not in your anger,
or you will reduce me to nothing.
25 Pour out your wrath on the nations who do not acknowledge you,
on the peoples who do not call on your name,
for they have devoured Jacob.
They have devoured him completely
and made his homeland desolate.
