Jeremiah 9:4-5

⁴ “Let everyone ^(A)beware of his neighbor,
And ^(B)do not trust any brother,
Because every ^(C)brother ^[a]surely supplants,
And every neighbor ^(D)goes about as a slanderer.
⁵ Everyone ^(E)deceives his neighbor
And does not speak the truth;
They have taught their tongue to speak lies;
They ^(F)weary themselves committing iniquity.
