³⁴ Then I will make to ^(A)cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, for the ^(B)land will become a waste place.

⁹ For thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I am going to ^(A)cause to cease from this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride.
