⁵ Arise, and let us go up by night
And ^[a](A)destroy her ^[b]palaces!”
⁶ For thus says Yahweh of hosts,
“^(B)Cut down her trees
And cast up a ^(C)siege against Jerusalem.
This is the city to be punished,
In whose midst there is only ^(D)oppression.
^7 (E)Like a well ^[c]keeps its waters fresh,
So she ^[d]keeps fresh her evil.
^(F)Violence and devastation are heard in her;
^(G)Sickness and wounds are continually before Me.
