³For through Yahweh’s anger this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence.

Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

³Indeed, Jerusalem and Judah so angered the Lord that he expelled them from his presence.

Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.^(A)

³It was because of the Lord’s anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah,^(A) and in the end he thrust them from his presence.^(B)

Now Zedekiah rebelled^(C) against the king of Babylon.
