Jeremiah 50:2-4

2 Declare among the nations and proclaim;
set up a banner and proclaim;
do not conceal it, say:
“Babylon is taken;
Bel is put to shame;
Merodach is dismayed.
Her images are put to shame;
her idols are dismayed.”(A)
3 For out of the north a nation has come up against her; it shall make her land a desolation, and no one shall live in it; both humans and animals shall flee away.(B)
4 In those days and in that time, says the Lord, the people of Israel shall come, they and the people of Judah together; they shall come weeping as they seek the Lord their God.(C)

2 “Announce and proclaim(A) among the nations,
lift up a banner(B) and proclaim it;
keep nothing back, but say,
‘Babylon will be captured;(C)
Bel(D) will be put to shame,(E)
Marduk(F) filled with terror.
Her images will be put to shame
and her idols(G) filled with terror.’
3 A nation from the north(H) will attack her
and lay waste her land.
No one will live(I) in it;
both people and animals(J) will flee away.
