Jeremiah 50:2-3
English Standard Version
2 “Declare among the nations and proclaim,
set up a banner and proclaim,
conceal it not, and say:
(A)‘Babylon is taken,
(B)Bel is put to shame,
Merodach is dismayed.
(C)Her images are put to shame,
her idols are dismayed.’
3 “For (D)out of the north a nation has come up against her, (E)which shall make her land a desolation, and none shall dwell in it; (F)both man and beast shall flee away.

New International Version
2 “Announce and proclaim(A) among the nations,
lift up a banner(B) and proclaim it;
keep nothing back, but say,
‘Babylon will be captured;(C)
Bel(D) will be put to shame,(E)
Marduk(F) filled with terror.
Her images will be put to shame
and her idols(G) filled with terror.’
3 A nation from the north(H) will attack her
and lay waste her land.
No one will live(I) in it;
both people and animals(J) will flee away.

21 “Go up against the land of Merathaim,[a]
and against the inhabitants of Pekod.[b]
Kill, (A)and devote them to destruction,[c]
declares the Lord,
and do all that I have commanded you.
