Jeremiah 50:11-13

New American Standard Bible

¹¹ “Because you are glad, because you are jubilant,
You who ^(A)pillage My heritage,
Because you skip about ^[a]like a threshing ^(B)heifer
And neigh like ^[b]stallions,
¹² Your ^(C)mother ^[c]will be greatly ashamed,
She who gave you birth ^[d]will be humiliated.
Behold, she will be the least of the nations,
A ^(D)wilderness, a dry land and a desert.
¹³ Because of the wrath of the Lord she will ^(E)not be inhabited,
But she will be ^(F)completely desolate;
Everyone who passes by Babylon ^(G)will be horrified
And will hiss because of all her wounds.
