Jeremiah 5:12-13

¹² “They have lied about the Lord
    by saying, ‘He wouldn’t do that!^[a]
Disaster won’t come on us.
    We won’t see sword and famine.
¹³ The prophets are nothing but^[b] wind,
    and the word is not in them.
So may the disaster happen to them!’”^[c]
