¹¹ For ^(A)I am with you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘to save you;
For I will ^(B)make a complete destruction of all the nations where I have scattered you,
Only I will ^(C)not make a complete destruction of you.
But I will ^(D)chasten you justly
And will by no means leave you unpunished.’

Who ^(A)gives the sun for light by day
And the statutes for the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who ^(B)stirs up the sea so that its waves roar;
^(C)Yahweh of hosts is His name:
³⁶ “^(D)If these statutes are removed
From before Me,” declares Yahweh,
“Then the seed of Israel also will ^(E)cease
From being a nation before Me ^[a]forever.”

³² And it will be that ^(A)everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh
Will ^[a]be delivered;
For ^(B)on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
There will be those who ^(C)escape,
As Yahweh has said,
Even among the ^(D)survivors whom Yahweh calls.

“Just as the shepherd ^(A)delivers from the lion’s mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear,
So will the sons of Israel inhabiting Samaria be delivered—
With the ^(B)corner of a bed and the ^[a](C)cover of a couch!

¹⁷ But on Mount ^(A)Zion there will be those who escape,
And it will be holy.
And the house of Jacob will ^(B)possess their possessions.
