Jeremiah 48:27-29
New American Bible (Revised Edition)
27 Has Israel not been a laughingstock to you? Was he caught among thieves that you wag your heads whenever you speak of him?(A)
28 Abandon the cities, take shelter in the crags,
inhabitants of Moab.
Be like the dove that nests
in the walls of a gorge.
29 We have heard of the pride of Moab,(B)
pride beyond bounds:
His loftiness, his pride, his scorn,
his insolent heart.
Jeremiah 48:27-29
