New American Standard Bible

25 The (A)horn of Moab has been cut off, and his (B)arm broken,” declares the Lord. 26 “(C)Make him drunk, for he has [a]become (D)arrogant toward the Lord; so Moab will [b]vomit, and he also will become a laughingstock. 27 Now was Israel not a (E)laughingstock to you? Or was he [c](F)caught among thieves? For whenever you speak about him you (G)shake your head in scorn.

    for she has defied(D) the Lord.
Let Moab wallow in her vomit;(E)
    let her be an object of ridicule.(F)
27 Was not Israel the object of your ridicule?(G)
    Was she caught among thieves,(H)
that you shake your head(I) in scorn(J)
    whenever you speak of her?
