29 “‘This will be the sign(A) to you that I will punish(B) you in this place,’ declares the Lord, ‘so that you will know that my threats of harm against you will surely stand.’(C) 30 This is what the Lord says: ‘I am going to deliver Pharaoh(D) Hophra king of Egypt into the hands of his enemies who want to kill him, just as I gave Zedekiah(E) king of Judah into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the enemy who wanted to kill him.’”(F)

29 And this will be a sign for you, declares the Lord: I will punish you here so that you know my threats against you will surely be fulfilled. 30 The Lord proclaims: I will hand Pharaoh Hophra, Egypt’s king, over to his enemies who seek to kill him, just as I delivered Judah’s King Zedekiah over to his enemy King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who sought to kill him.
