Jeremiah 39:7-9

7 He then (A)blinded Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in (B)shackles of bronze to bring him to (C)Babylon. 8 The Chaldeans also (D)burned the king’s palace and the houses of the people with fire, and they (E)tore down the walls of Jerusalem. 9 And as for the rest of the people who were left in the city, the (F)deserters who had deserted to him and (G)the rest of the people who remained, (H)Nebuzaradan the (I)captain of the bodyguard took them into exile in Babylon.

New International Version
7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes(A) and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.(B)
8 The Babylonians[a] set fire(C) to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls(D) of Jerusalem. 9 Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him,(E) and the rest of the people.(F)
