Jeremiah 36:5-7
1599 Geneva Bible
5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am [a]shut up, and cannot go into the House of the Lord.
6 Therefore go thou, and read the roll wherein thou hast written at my mouth the words of the Lord, in the audience of the people in the Lord’s house upon the [b]fasting day: also thou shalt read them in the hearing of all Judah, that come out of their cities.
7 It may be that they will [c]pray before the Lord, and everyone return from his evil way, for great is the anger and the wrath that the Lord hath declared against this people.

Jeremiah 36:5-7
New International Version
5 Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am restricted; I am not allowed to go to the Lord’s temple. 6 So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting(A) and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated.(B) Read them to all the people of Judah(C) who come in from their towns. 7 Perhaps they will bring their petition(D) before the Lord and will each turn(E) from their wicked ways, for the anger(F) and wrath pronounced against this people by the Lord are great.”
