15 And again and again I have sent you all My servants who spoke for Me, saying, ‘Everyone turn now from your sinful way, and do what I tell you to do. Do not go after other gods to worship them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and to your fathers before you. But you have not turned your ear to listen to Me. 16 The sons of Jonadab, the son of Rechab, have obeyed what their father told them, but these people have not listened to Me.’”’ 17 So the Lord, the God of All, the God of Israel, says, ‘I am bringing on Judah and on all the people of Jerusalem all the trouble I have said would come upon them. For I spoke to them but they did not listen. I have called them but they did not answer.’”

15 Again and again I sent all my servants the prophets(A) to you. They said, “Each of you must turn(B) from your wicked ways and reform(C) your actions; do not follow other gods(D) to serve them. Then you will live in the land(E) I have given to you and your ancestors.” But you have not paid attention or listened(F) to me. 16 The descendants of Jehonadab son of Rekab have carried out the command their forefather(G) gave them, but these people have not obeyed me.’
17 “Therefore this is what the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘Listen! I am going to bring on Judah and on everyone living in Jerusalem every disaster(H) I pronounced against them. I spoke to them, but they did not listen;(I) I called to them, but they did not answer.’”(J)
