Jeremiah 31:34-36
New King James Version
34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for (A)they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For (B)I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
35 Thus says the Lord,
(C)Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
Who disturbs (D)the sea,
And its waves roar
(E)(The Lord of hosts is His name):
36 “If (F)those ordinances depart
From before Me, says the Lord,
Then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”
Jeremiah 31:34-36
New American Standard Bible
34 They will (A)not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all (B)know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will (C)forgive their wrongdoing, and their (D)sin I will no longer remember.”
35 This is what the Lord says,
He who (E)gives the sun for light by day
And the [a]fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who (F)stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
(G)The Lord of armies is His name:
36 “(H)If [b]this fixed order departs
From Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the descendants of Israel also will (I)cease
To be a nation before Me [c]forever.”
