New International Version

³¹“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant^(A)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.

⁵For ^(A)there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man^[a] Christ Jesus,

1 Timothy 2:5 men and man render the same Greek word that is translated people in verses 1 and 4
