21 “Set up signposts,
Make landmarks;
(A)Set your heart toward the highway,
The way in which you went.
[a]Turn back, O virgin of Israel,
Turn back to these your cities.
22 How long will you (B)gad about,
O you (C)backsliding daughter?
For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth—
A woman shall encompass a man.”

23 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “They shall again use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity: (D)‘The Lord bless you, O home of justice, and (E)mountain of holiness!’

Take note of the highway,(B)
the road that you take.
Return,(C) Virgin(D) Israel,
return to your towns.
22 How long will you wander,(E)
unfaithful(F) Daughter Israel?
The Lord will create a new thing(G) on earth—
the woman will return to[a](H) the man.”
23 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “When I bring them back from captivity,[b](I) the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: ‘The Lord bless(J) you, you prosperous city,(K) you sacred mountain.’(L)
