^12 (A)As a shepherd ^[a]cares for his herd in the day when he is among his ^[b]sheep which are spread out, so I will ^[c](B)care for My ^[d]sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a ^(C)cloudy and gloomy day. ¹³ I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will ^(D)shepherd them on the mountains of Israel, by the ^(E)streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. ¹⁴ I will shepherd them in a ^(F)good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and be shepherded in ^[e](G)rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

²³ “Then I will ^(A)establish over them one ^(B)shepherd, My servant ^(C)David, and he will shepherd them; he will shepherd them himself and be their shepherd.

³¹ “As for you, My ^(A)sheep, the ^(B)sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God,” declares Lord Yahweh.

¹¹ “^(A)I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd ^(B)lays down His life for the sheep.

^14 (A)I am the good shepherd, and ^(B)I know My own and My own know Me, ¹⁵ even as ^(C)the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and ^(D)I lay down My life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And I have ^(E)other sheep, which are not from this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become ^(F)one flock with ^(G)one shepherd.
