‘How I would set you among ^[a]My sons
And give you a pleasant land,
The most ^(A)beautiful inheritance of the nations!’
And I said, ‘You shall call Me, ^(B)“My Father,”
And not turn away from following Me.’

² And you will ^(A)swear, ‘As Yahweh lives,’
^(B)In truth, in justice, and in righteousness;
Then the ^(C)nations will ^[a]be blessed in Him,
And ^(D)in Him they will boast.”

¹⁹ O Yahweh, my ^(A)strength and my strong defense,
And my ^(B)refuge in the day of distress,
To You the ^(C)nations will come
From the ends of the earth and say,
“Our fathers have inherited nothing but ^(D)lies,
Futility and ^[a](E)things of no profit.”
