Jeremiah 3:12-15

12 Go and call out these words toward the north and say,
‘[a](A)Return, faithless Israel,’ declares Yahweh;
‘(B)I will not [b]look upon you in anger.
For I am (C)One of lovingkindness,’ declares Yahweh;
‘I will not be angry forever.
13 Only [c](D)acknowledge your iniquity,
That you have transgressed against Yahweh your God
And have (E)scattered your ways of harlotry to the strangers (F)under every green tree,
And you have not listened to My voice,’ declares Yahweh.
14 ‘[d]Return, O faithless sons,’ declares Yahweh;
‘For I am a (G)master to you,
And I will take you one from a city and two from a family,
And (H)I will bring you to Zion.’
15 “Then I will give you (I)shepherds after My own heart, who will [e](J)shepherd you on knowledge and understanding.
