⁵ “^(A)I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth ^(B)by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will ^(C)give it to the one who is ^[a]pleasing in My sight. ⁶ Now I ^(D)have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, ^(E)My servant, and I have given him also the ^(F)wild animals of the field to serve him. ^7 (G)All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson ^(H)until the time of his own land comes; then ^(I)many nations and great kings will ^[b]make him their servant.

²⁵ that you be ^(A)driven away from mankind and your dwelling place be with the beasts of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven ^[a]periods of time will pass over you, until you recognize that the ^(B)Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and ^(C)bestows it on whomever He wishes.

^18 [a]O king, the ^(A)Most High God ^(B)granted ^[b]sovereignty, ^(C)grandeur, glory and majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your father. ¹⁹ Because of the grandeur which He bestowed on him, all the peoples, nations and men of every ^[c]language feared and trembled before him; ^(D)whomever he wished he killed and whomever he wished he spared alive; and whomever he wished he elevated and whomever he wished he humbled.
