Jeremiah 25:7-9
New Living Translation
7 “But you would not listen to me,” says the Lord. “You made me furious by worshiping idols you made with your own hands, bringing on yourselves all the disasters you now suffer. 8 And now the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Because you have not listened to me, 9 I will gather together all the armies of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my deputy. I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy[a] you and make you an object of horror and contempt and a ruin forever.

New International Version
7 “But you did not listen to me,” declares the Lord, “and you have aroused(A) my anger with what your hands have made,(B) and you have brought harm(C) to yourselves.”
8 Therefore the Lord Almighty says this: “Because you have not listened to my words, 9 I will summon(D) all the peoples of the north(E) and my servant(F) Nebuchadnezzar(G) king of Babylon,” declares the Lord, “and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy[a](H) them and make them an object of horror and scorn,(I) and an everlasting ruin.(J)
