“^(B)Terror on every side!
^(C)Denounce him; yes, let us denounce him!”
^[a]All my ^(D)trusted friends,
Keeping watch for my fall, say:
“Perhaps he will be ^[b]deceived, so that we may ^(E)prevail against him
And take our revenge on him.”

⁵ Why have I seen it?
They are shattered;
They are ^(A)drawing back,
And their ^(B)mighty men are crushed
And have fled to refuge,
Without facing back;
^[a](C)Terror is on every side!”
Declares Yahweh.

²⁹ They will take away their tents and their flocks;
They will carry off for themselves
Their tent ^(A)curtains, all their goods, and their ^(B)camels,
And they will call out to one another, ‘^(C)Terror on every side!’
