Jeremiah 18:21

21 Therefore, (A)give their children over to famine
And deliver them up to the [a]power of the sword;
And let their wives become (B)childless and (C)widowed.
Let their men also be [b]smitten to death,
Their (D)young men struck down by the sword in battle.

12 Though they bring up their children,
Yet I will bereave them [a]until not a man is left.
Surely, (A)woe to them indeed when I depart from them!
13 Ephraim, as I have seen,
Is planted in a pasture like (B)Tyre;
But Ephraim will bring out his children for killing.
14 Give them, O Yahweh—what will You give?
Give them a [b](C)miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15 All their evil is at (D)Gilgal;
Indeed, I came to hate them there!
Because of the (E)evil of their deeds
I will drive them out of My house!
I will love them no more;
All their princes are (F)rebels.
16 (G)Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up;
They will bear (H)no fruit.
Even though they bear children,
I will put to death the (I)desirable ones of their womb.
