¹¹ Then the Lord said to me, ^(A)“Do not pray for this people, for their good.

¹⁶ “Therefore ^(A)do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; ^(B)for I will not hear you.

¹⁴ “So ^(A)do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble.

³² Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, ^(A)blot me ^(B)out of Your book which You have written.”

³³ And the Lord said to Moses, ^(C)“Whoever has sinned against Me, I will ^(D)blot him out of My book. ³⁴ Now therefore, go, lead the people to the place of which I have ^(E)spoken to you. ^(F)Behold, My Angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, ^(G)in the day when I ^(H)visit for punishment, I will visit punishment upon them for their sin.”

The Lord Will Not Relent

15 Then the Lord said to me, ^(A)“Even if ^(B)Moses and ^(C)Samuel stood before Me, My ^[a]mind would not be favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.
