¹⁹ But I was like a gentle ^(A)lamb led to the slaughter;
And I did not know that they had ^(B)devised thoughts against me, saying,
“Let us make the tree with its ^[a]fruit a ruin,
And ^(C)let us cut him off from the ^(D)land of the living,
That his ^(E)name be remembered no more.”

²³ Yet You, O Yahweh, know
All their ^[a]deadly counsel against me;
^(A)Do not atone for their iniquity
Or blot out their sin from before You.
But may they be ^[b](B)overthrown before You;
Deal with them in the ^(C)time of Your anger!

¹³ Because of the sins of her ^(A)prophets
And the iniquities of her priests,
Who have shed in her midst
The ^(B)blood of the righteous;

¹⁴ They wandered, ^(C)blind, in the streets;
They were defiled with ^(D)blood
So that no one could touch their ^(E)garments.
