¹³ The word of Yahweh came to me a second time saying, “^(A)What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling ^(B)pot, facing away from the north.” ¹⁴ Then Yahweh said to me, “^(C)From the north the evil ^[a]will break open on all the inhabitants of the land.

³ who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. ^[a]This ^(A)city is the pot, and we are the flesh.’

⁷ Therefore, thus says Lord Yahweh, “Your ^(A)slain whom you have laid in the midst of ^[a]the city are the flesh, and this city is the pot; but ^[b]I will ^(B)bring you out of it.

¹¹ This city will ^(A)not be a pot for you, nor will you be flesh in the midst of it, but I will judge you to the border of Israel.
