10 Mira que te he puesto en este día sobre naciones y sobre reinos, para arrancar y para destruir, para arruinar y para derribar, para edificar y para plantar. 11 La palabra de Jehová vino a mí, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Veo una vara de almendro.[a] 12 Y me dijo Jehová: Bien has visto; porque yo apresuro[b] mi palabra para ponerla por obra.

10 See, today I appoint you over nations(A) and kingdoms to uproot(B) and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”(C)
11 The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”(D)
“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching[a](E) to see that my word is fulfilled.”
