² Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah, you who enter these gates to worship the Lord.

² Thus says the Lord: Stand in the court of the Lord’s house and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the Lord; speak to them all the words that I command you; do not hold back a word.^(A)

²² Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”

⁴ The descendants are impudent and stubborn. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’^{(A) 5} Whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house), they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.^(B)
