³³ So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king’s table.^(A)

⁷ “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan.^(A) I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.^(B)”

⁷ “But show kindness^(A) to the sons of Barzillai^(B) of Gilead and let them be among those who eat at your table.^(C) They stood by me when I fled from your brother Absalom.

¹³ And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because he always ate at the king’s table; he was lame in both feet.

⁴² Then Pharaoh took his signet ring^(A) from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes^(B) of fine linen^(C) and put a gold chain around his neck.^(D)

¹⁴ So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon.^(A) When he had shaved^(B) and changed his clothes,^(C) he came before Pharaoh.

⁴ The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”

Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin,^(A) and I will put fine garments^(B) on you.”
