Jeremiah’s Command to Seraiah

⁵⁹ The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of ^(A)Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And Seraiah was the quartermaster.

⁴ Then Jeremiah ^(A)called Baruch the son of Neriah; and ^(B)Baruch wrote on a scroll of a book, ^[a]at the instruction of Jeremiah, all the words of the Lord which He had spoken to him.

¹² and I gave the purchase deed to ^(A)Baruch the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the ^(B)witnesses who signed the purchase deed, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the prison.

Assurance to Baruch

45 The ^(A)word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to ^(B)Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book ^[a]at the instruction of Jeremiah, in the ^(C)fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

28 And ^(A)it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the ^(B)fourth year and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of ^(C)Azur the prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

52 Zedekiah was ^(B)twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of ^(C)Libnah.
