^10 (A)But I have made Esau bare;
I have uncovered his secret places,
And he shall not be able to hide himself.
His descendants are plundered,
His brethren and his neighbors,
And ^(B)he is no more.

¹⁴ Then behold, at eventide, trouble!
And before the morning, he is no more.
This is the portion of those who plunder us,
And the lot of those who rob us.

³ But Esau I have hated,
And ^(A)laid waste his mountains and his heritage
For the jackals of the wilderness.”

⁹ Then your ^(A)mighty men, O ^(B)Teman, shall be dismayed,
To the end that everyone from the mountains of Esau
May be cut off by slaughter.

³ And though they ^(A)hide themselves on top of Carmel,
From there I will search and take them;
Though they hide from My sight at the bottom of the sea,
From there I will command the serpent, and it shall bite them;

²⁴ Can anyone ^(A)hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
^(B)“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.

³ I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
^(A)That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who ^(B)call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.

²⁰ You will not be joined with them in burial,
Because you have destroyed your land
And slain your people.
^(A)The brood of evildoers shall never be named.
²¹ Prepare slaughter for his children
^(B)Because of the iniquity of their fathers,
Lest they rise up and possess the land,
And fill the face of the world with cities.”

²² “For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts,
“And cut off from Babylon ^(C)the name and ^(D)remnant,
^(E)And offspring and posterity,” says the Lord.
