³⁵ And I will bring to an end in Moab, declares the Lord, him who offers sacrifice in ^(A)the high place and makes offerings to his god.

¹² And when Moab presents himself, when ^(A)he wearies himself on ^(B)the high place, when he comes to his sanctuary to pray, he will not prevail.

^13 (A)For your gods have become as many as your cities, O Judah, and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to shame, ^(B)altars to make offerings to Baal.

²⁸ also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths for one ram, ²⁹ a tenth for each of the seven lambs; ³⁰ with ^(A)one male goat, to make atonement for you.

¹⁴ Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.

⁴⁰ And Balak sacrificed oxen and sheep, and sent for Balaam and for the princes who were with him.

⁴¹ And in the morning Balak took Balaam and brought him up to Bamoth-baal, and from there he saw a fraction of the people.
