¹² a wind too full for this comes for me. Now it is I who ^(A)speak in judgment upon them.”

¹⁶ And ^(A)I will declare my judgments against them, for all their evil ^(B)in forsaking me. ^(C)They have made offerings to other gods and ^(D)worshiped the works of their own hands.

⁸ therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, even I, ^(A)am against you. ^(B)And I will execute judgments^[a] in your midst ^(C)in the sight of the nations.

⁸ Now I will soon ^(A)pour out my wrath upon you, and ^(B)spend my anger against you, ^(C)and judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations. ^9 (D)And my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. ^(E)Then you will know that I am the Lord, who strikes.

¹¹ Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)“Clap your hands ^(B)and stamp your foot and say, Alas, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, ^(C)for they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. ^12 (D)He who is far off shall die of pestilence, and he who is near shall fall by the sword, and he who is left and is preserved shall die of famine. ^(E)Thus I will spend my fury upon them. ¹³ And you shall know that I am the Lord, ^(F)when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, ^(G)on every high hill, ^(H)on all the mountaintops, ^(I)under every green tree, and under ^(J)every leafy oak, wherever ^(K)they offered pleasing aroma to all their idols.
