¹⁸ nor shall the ^(A)priests, the Levites, lack a man to ^(B)offer burnt offerings before Me, to ^[a]kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’ ”

⁶ and has ^(A)made us ^[a]kings and priests to His God and Father, ^(B)to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of ^(A)darkness into His marvelous light;

⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

^15 (A)Therefore by Him let us continually offer ^(B)the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, ^(C)the fruit of our lips, ^[a]giving thanks to His name. ^16 (D)But do not forget to do good and to share, for ^(E)with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

¹⁶ that ^(A)I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the ^(B)offering ^[a]of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

²¹ because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but ^(A)became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

^5 (A)An area twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand wide shall belong to the Levites, the ministers of the ^[a]temple; they shall have ^(B)twenty^[b] chambers as a possession.

⁹ Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)“No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel.

Laws Governing Priests

^10 (B)“And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. ¹¹ Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, ^(C)as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; ^(D)they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and ^(E)they shall stand before them to minister to them.
