⁴³ Once more fields will be bought^(A) in this land of which you say, ‘It is a desolate^(B) waste, without people or animals, for it has been given into the hands of the Babylonians.’

¹¹ Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’^{(A) 12} Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.^{(B) 13} Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord,^(C) when I open your graves and bring you up from them.^{(D) 14} I will put my Spirit^(E) in you and you will live, and I will settle^(F) you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.^(G)’”

¹⁵ For this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Houses, fields and vineyards will again be bought in this land.’^(A)

³⁶ “You are saying about this city, ‘By the sword, famine and plague^(A) it will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon’; but this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:

¹⁰ “This is what the Lord says: ‘You say about this place, “It is a desolate waste, without people or animals.”^(A) Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted,^(B) inhabited by neither people nor animals, there will be heard once more
