²⁸ And it shall come to pass, that as I have ^(A)watched over them ^(B)to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them ^(C)to build and to plant, says the Lord.

⁶ For I will set My eyes on them for good, and ^(A)I will bring them back to this land; ^(B)I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up.

⁴ “Thus you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, ^(A)what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land.

²⁷ Behold, I will watch over them for adversity and not for good. And all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt ^(A)shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end to them.

⁷ The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to ^(A)pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, ^8 (B)if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, ^(C)I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. ⁹ And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord has ^(A)kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for ^(B)the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice.

⁴¹ Yes, ^(A)I will rejoice over them to do them good, and ^(B)I will ^[a]assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’
